I’m Vicky Harvin, a contemporary impressionist artist who finds joy in laying down bold colors and loose brushstrokes that invite the eye to blend them together. My style reflects my love of capturing the energy, emotion, and beauty of the world around me.

After retiring from a rewarding career in education, I now have the time to fully explore my passion for art. I’m inspired by nature and its endless wonders, as well as my experiences traveling and living in different parts of the world. Growing up in Switzerland, Australia, and Hong Kong instilled in me a sense of curiosity and appreciation for diverse landscapes and cultures. Later, I raised my two children in Central America and the Dominican Republic, where the vibrant surroundings further shaped my creative vision.

Today, I live in South Texas with my husband and our Australian Shepherd. Whether I’m painting scenes from my travels or the natural beauty of my everyday life, my art is a reflection of the adventures and experiences that have shaped me. Through my work, I hope to share a bit of that wonder and joy with you.
